Summer is a great time to visit local farmer’s market. I go there every week. Sometimes (well, most of the times) I get too excited and buy way more fruit and veggies than I need. That’s why I make a lot of smoothies. As you noticed, I like to use tropical fruit a lot and today I picked up guava.
Ingredients:
- 2 kiwis
- 2 bananas
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 2 peaches
- 2 guava
- ½ grapefruit (peeled and seeded)
- 1 avocado
- 1 tablespoon black maca powder

When searching for maca powder on Amazon, make sure you check price/100g as some vendors charge way more than the others.

Instructions:
First, wash and pit peaches and guava. Peel bananas, grapefruit, kiwi and avocado (pit it as well).
This is the first time I used guava fruit and I really liked it. I think it pairs well with kiwi and peaches. Also, you can use the whole grapefruit if you like. My wife is not big fan, so I used only half.
Add all ingredients to a blender.


Blend on high until smooth and creamy. It shouldn’t take longer than 60-90 seconds.
Taste and adjust: add more pomegranate juice if you want it sweeter or more tart.
